The Mercure Schipol is housed in a low rise modern hotel building. The hotels modern lobby is quite large with marble flooring, and incorporates a few cosy armchairs and sofas as well as the "Orient Express" English style pub. The hotel rooms are double glazed and all medium sized. All rooms feature air conditioning and the new colour scheme is blue and yellow with dark wood furnishings. All rooms have a desk, an armchair and are worthy of their first class classification. The modern bathrooms are also in good condition. The hotel restaurant is located on the ground floor and offers an International menu. It has also recently been renovated and is now very bright and welcoming with blue leather banquettes and red and yellow leather seats. This Mercure Schiphol is ideal for business and leisure guests and there is a shuttle service to and from Schiphol airport giving easy access to the centre of Amsterdam.
