Just a stone's throw from the zoo and Botanic Gardens, the Plantage Hotel is a great choice for those who value lovely surroundings and comfortable accommodation at a good price. Please note this hotel has no meal services! Geared more to the budget end it offers great value in a central location.

Just opposite the Amsterdam City Zoo called ARTIS.
If travelling by air, get train from Schiphol Airport to Central Station Amsterdam. From Central Station get tramline no 9: stop for the Zoo is called "Plantage Kerklaan". If travelling by car, on the eastern section of the ringroad Amsterdam (A10) the ZOO Artis, is indicated with an sign with a little black elephant. Take exit S114 and follow the signs (little black elephants) to the Zoo.
