The Rembrandt Classic Hotel is housed in four 17th century merchant houses that overlook Herengracht Canal. In contrast to the traditional façade, the small lobby is appointed in a more modern style, with a cosy bar and a comfortable lounge area. The 111 guestrooms vary significantly in size and layout due to the age of the building. Some retain their original fireplaces and wooden beams and all are comfortably furnished. Both the rooms and bathrooms are well maintained. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the lower ground floor and has large picture windows. There is also a garden courtyard where guests can enjoy a drink in fine weather.
