Housed in a grand traditional building, the Victoria Hotel has been welcoming guests since 1890. The medium sized lobby is appointed in a fairly modern style, with a marble floor and a wood reception desk, and leads to a lounge area, which features more traditional furnishings. Beautifully decorated in blue and yellow tones, the 305 guestrooms vary in size from medium to large. Although recently refurbished, they are traditional in style and all are well maintained, as are the white tiled bathrooms. The hotel’s Vic's Terrace and Brasserie serves international cuisine and a wide selection of beverages. Breakfast can be taken in the Seasons Garden restaurant, while the Tasman Bar serves a wide range of cocktails.
