The Bellvue Hotel boasts an ideal city centre location, opposite the Central Station, and close to most city attractions. The guestrooms are modern and contemporary in style, with a minimalist design. The rooms are comfortable and equipped standard amenities. Guests can enjoy a beer in the Cafe Karpershoek, the oldest cafe in Amsterdam, rich in character and atmosphere. Guests will also benefit from the hotel's terrace in the warmer months.
The Bellevue Hotel is housed in a modern hotel with a traditional brick façade, which opened in March 2005. Though newly built, it has been sensitively designed, due to Amsterdam’s strict building laws, to blend in with the surrounding traditional architecture. The lobby is large and airy with a black and white tiled floor, terracotta leather chairs and pale blue beams on the ceiling, lending it an impression of modernity with a twist of tradition similar to that created by the exterior. The 76 medium sized guestrooms are in very good condition and have pure white walls with a splash of vivid colour above the bed in the form of a giant photograph, either of the sea, desert or grass. All are equipped with plasma screen television and modern furniture. The "Brasserij" restaurant is located on the ground floor of the hotel and is decorated in the style of a bistro, with a tiled floor, wood tables and modern leather seating. Guests can also enjoy a drink in the bar or outside on the heated terrace.
